How long does a typical renovation take?
The programme is set after the survey and material decisions. For context, current portfolio examples range from 2–4 weeks for smaller commercial spaces to 6 weeks for an apartment and 17–24 weeks for larger combined projects. These are completed-project examples, not a fixed promise for every renovation.
Is the initial quote free?
Yes — the first quote, prepared after an on-site visit and measurement, is free and provided in writing with a full material breakdown.
Do you charge for measurement, consultation or 3D design?
The initial consultation, site visit and measurement required to prepare a proposal are free. Measured drawings, 3D visualisation and working drawings form a separate design scope; their need, content and fee are agreed in advance.
Who chooses the materials?
Materials are selected with you based on approved manufacturer samples and catalogues; our team ensures technical compatibility and sourcing.
What are the warranty terms?
Warranty coverage is stated clearly in the contract according to the work item, selected material and manufacturer terms. Materials not supplied by EMC Decor are assessed separately before installation.
Can you source rare materials?
Availability, sample, lead time and cost are checked for the specific material. A specialist item is included in the proposal only after availability is confirmed and agreed with the client.
